My GPS signal is inaccurate, the app does not record my track correctly?

If your tours are recorded inaccurately, check if your smartphone’s power-saving mode is activated.

An active power-saving mode can significantly limit the accuracy of the GPS signal, and we recommend deactivating it when using the KOMPASS app.

Note: Some smartphones have an automatic battery-saving function that can activate for apps without the users knowledge. This can lead to the GPS signal being limited or completely disabled at times for the KOMPASS app. Check the power-saving settings on your smartphone and deactivate any active settings for the KOMPASS app.

Additionally check the app permissions for your KOMPASS app. We recommend setting the permission for “Location” to “Always” or “While Using”. In our experience, this achieves the best results.
