Collection and use of user data

Use of the ADFC Karten app is possible without giving any personal information. While using maps and other location-based funtionality, the app collects GPS data, but never trasmits those data to us or third parties. In general, all sensitive data the app collects are used solely to provide the app’s functionality and never trasmitted to us nor to third parties.

While using the function „Feedback via email“ contents of your email and contact data is stored on our side in order to process your request and allow follow-up conversation. Collected data is not used for any other purpose and not passed on to third parties. You can request deletion of all stored information about you at any time.

When purchasing in-app products user data associated with your current Google account are processed by the Google Play Store.

Permissions

Location: the app collects and uses location data to show the user’s current location on a map and to calculate distances. Location data is neither transmitted to us nor to third parties. Permission to use location data must be authorized by the user and can be denied at any time in the device settings. While recording tracks (and only then) location data is also collected while the app is in the background.

Photos: the app can use photos on the device to associate with location markers. Photos are never trasmitted to us or to third parties.

Camera: the app can use the camera to take photos to be associated with location markers. Camera data is never trasmitted to us or to third parties.
